Hi :-)

This isn't my first attempt in blogging. I have done several blogs, but I always forget about them or I am too lazy to update it. But this time I will really try to be better at it. Foremostly I created this blog to join various craft challenges. But I will also post photos of my creations. I also hope to have some challenges myself with prizes.

There will probably not be much activity here for a couple of weeks, since I am pretty busy doing place cards etc. for a friend. But I cross my fingers and hope that this time I will update it weekly.

Some of you might react to my chosen nick name (Dilly Dally). I first chose that name for my facebook account since I was pretty sure I wouldn't bother with Facebook for long (how wrong could I be lol), and now the nick kind of have stayed with me. Hard to get rid of it. It's also hard to come up with a artist name (my real name is just too borring). I will also put a link here to my shop (when it is up and running). D3 will probably be my brand name. Picked that name since I mostly make 3D stuff and since Dilly Dally Design have 3 D's. 3D was an option, but not sure if I could use that as a brand name, and D3 looks cooler :-)

A little about me: I'm male, born in Norway (county of Rogaland), lived most of my life in this area (except of a few years in Iceland). I have a partner, Jonathan, and live with him and my two adorable cats called Thabo and Tafari. They are brothers and Savannah breed. Will probably also post photos of my cats at a later time. They are a huge bunch of fun and very naughty lol, but too cute for me to not forgive them.
I started out crafting as a acrylic painter when I lived in Iceland. I got borred from it and I was also frustrated when I didn't find the right equipment to do what I wanted with  my art. So I stuffed all my painting equipment away and started looking for a new hobby.  I found one about 3 years ago, one that kind of took over all my free time lol. I started out scrapbooking, but didn't find it that exciting. So I moved over to make greeting cards. That was fun, but I found out that making 3D things in paper was even greater fun. Now I design my own stuff and plan to sell cut-outs of my designs in my future net-shop. I still make some cards, but mostly for christmas. It's a very expensive hobby, and I can't goin a hobby store without buying something lol. My cards almost always have bright and lots of colour and LOADS of glitter. I try to do things not everybody is doing. I don't feel like doing the kind of things everybody else is doing. What's the use anyway, when others do them so much better than me. I admit my cards aren't as great as others (I'm not good in mixing the right colours), so 3D is much better. I'm great at that. Haven't joined many challenges, but I've gotten good reviews for the ones I joined.

I'm also into TV-series and movies (especially LGBT/GTM's), so will probably also post a few words of movies I recommend.

Hope you'll enjoy my crafting :-)
